Preface : I categorized Tel Aviv+Jerusalem in “3 days” category, because you need only 3 days to see those beautiful and important places. However, if you see Tel Aviv’s beach, you will be tempted to spend at least 7 days there.

THE FIRST AND THE SECOND DAY

How to get to Tel Aviv from Ben Gurion Airport :
I suggest, that you just simply take public transportation, because it’s really cheap and you will get to your hotel almost the same as taking a taxi! ….I am about to tell you how.

You take a train from Ben Gurion Airport towards Nahariya and get out at Tel Aviv – HaHagana Station. From this station, you can take a bus to the city. It depends on which part. For further information, you can check at DAN.

FYI, you need to pay for train and bus in Shekel, so I suggest that you exchange just 10 Euro or Dollar or Pound at the airport. That’s enough to get you to the city.

6 Reasons why you should visit Tel Aviv

Reason no.1 : If you like to spend time at the beach, you will totally love it , because Tel Aviv’s beach stretches up to 5 km.

A view from Tel Aviv’s beach to The Old Jaffa

Reason no.2 : Tel Aviv’s beach is totally clean.  There are plenty of plastic bins on the beach and visitors always keep the beach clean as well.

Reason no.3 : If you are tired from walking, there are plenty of sitting and relaxing zones along the beach. I really like its design.

Reason no.4 : A lovely and romantic sunset to indulge, ever.

Reason no.5 : The old Jaffa isn’t just a fishing town. It ages about 3,500 years old with various places and buildings to see including Al-Bahr Mosque, which was influenced by Ottoman architecture, and completed in 16th Century.

Reasons why you should visit Jerusalem

Reason no.6 : The old Jerusalem is an impressive part of the city, there are many things to see and to spend your time there, and hence it is really worth visiting once in your life time.

The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer was built between 1893 and 1898 by the architect Paul Ferdinand Groth following the designs of Friedrich Adler.

Reason no.7 : There are various sacred buildings and points in Jerusalem. Important places are listed as follows;

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre was built in the 2nd century.

The door of The Church of the Holy Sepulchre

The Aedicule contains the Holy Sepulchre.

Dome of the Rock is situated in the center of the Temple Mount, and was built in the 1st century.

The Altar of the Crucifixion

Reason no.8 : Jerusalem has spirit, and emotion.

The Western Wall is an ancient limestone wall in the Old City of Jerusalem, and was built in the 10th century BCE.

The 7th Station is where Jesus fell the second time.

Reason no.9 : The view from the Mount of Olives is very spectacular.

Reason no.10 : There is a natural wonder nearby: The Dead Sea, which is the earth’s lowest elevation on land, and the deepest hypersaline lake in the world.
